Meet Mohamed
A bright, kind-hearted 10-year-old who once lit up every room with his energy and love for martial arts. He was always moving, always smiling—until one day, a tragic accident changed everything.

While doing chin-ups in his room, Mohamed suddenly fell after his head got stuck in the bar, and he was unable to move. His mother, Halima, rushed to find him paralyzed. Mohamed suffered a severe spinal cord injury and has been completely paralyzed ever since. Mohamed’s challenges are compounded in light of the passing of his father, making him an orphan. With no father in the picture, his mother is his sole provider, protector, and support system.

Now wheelchair-bound, Mohamed depends entirely on his mother, Halima—a revert to Islam and a single mother who has already overcome so much. After converting to Islam, her family distanced themselves. Then, she lost her husband. And now, she’s carrying the full emotional, physical, and financial weight of caring for her son alone.

Despite her own health challenges, Halima remains by Mohamed’s side—faithful, loving, and strong. But she is struggling.

Why We Need Your Help

• Mohamed has outgrown his wheelchair, but his medical insurance only provides one every two years. He urgently needs a new one that fits and supports his growing body.
