“I couldn't eat the food my son prepared properly due to my tendency to vomit. Consequently, I grew weaker day by day and became immobilized. Additionally, I was grappling with high blood pressure, further exacerbated by a lack of medication. My son's income is meager, making it impossible to afford a doctor's visit. A local boy from our village took me to a doctor eight months ago, leading to a noticeable improvement in my condition. I can now eat without complications, bringing me immense relief. Moreover, the doctor provided me with medication for my blood pressure. Projects For Humanity has greatly benefited individuals like me.”

How much does each campaign cost? 

We arrange campaigns in remote areas, and each campaign costs $200, providing free medical treatment and basic medicines.

Taking care of the sick is considered the highest status, known as 'MUHSINOON,' in Islam.

Prophet (PBUH) said: Allah SWT will say on the Day of Resurrection: ‘O son of Adam, I was sick but you did not visit Me.’ He will reply ‘my Lord, how could I visit You when You are the Lord of the Worlds?’ He will say: ‘Did you not know that one of My servants was sick and you didn’t visit him? If you had visited him you would have found Me there.’

What we do

We organize monthly 'Free Medical Treatment' campaigns in remote areas of Bangladesh where no medical facilities are available. An internal medicine doctor offers diverse medical treatments, including checkups for families, specialized screenings for diabetes and blood pressure for the elderly, physical therapy, advice on arthritis and back pain, immunizations, medications, and referrals to specialist doctors in cases of severe illness. Additionally, we strive to raise health awareness among people. Also, we provide basic medicines on a case-by-case basis.

Why Bangladesh?

In Bangladesh, 15% of the population, equivalent to 27 million people, lacks access to medical treatment. This situation worsens in rural areas, where women endure pain in silence, with some issues leading to fatal outcomes. Additionally, pregnant women from remote areas face challenges accessing regular health checkups, resulting in childbirth complications.

Accomplishment

We have been providing this service for 7 years in 6 different locations in Bangladesh. Over the past 7 years, approximately 20,000 people have benefited from our free medical treatment services.
